Hypertufa is great. I'm pretty sure it is a simple recipe 1 part portland cement, 1 part peat moss, 1 part vermiculite, and water. You can make some interesting containers depending on what type of mold you construct.

yea rain barrels are skeetter nests..but if you use a wedding vale material to cover the top your good to go..it should last one or two seasons..if your useing a blue barrel use the clamp ring for the vale..or else use an old ten speed inner tube....
I found a rain barrel was better as a mosquito breeding ground than as a source of free water amd I have a slate roof.
I opted for terracing and subtle grade management with my raised beds to make the most of the rain.

Current members are Dan Baechle on drums, Pastor Jason on bass and Jason Gay on pedal steel and electric six strings. We're currently in the barn working up songs for a release sometime this year. I'll be adding some new songs currently in production. Len's Lounge and my solo project, Jeff Roberson and the Murder Creek Assembly are both working on releasing records this year. We record out in the barn and you can track progress of songs right here.
