Not sure how many Hellions realize this, but Bürger Beer is now back and with a vengeance. The once great Cincinnati beer is being brewed again and I'd say it poses a serious threat to our beloved PBR. We were fortunate enough to sample some thanks to Holden and I believe we need to have a beer off.
Similarities? Red, White and Blue Cans. They're cheap! They're both actually good for being cheap beer...BÜT...recently some places are raising the price for PBR!
I say we have a BEER off to determine which one will be the official beer of Hell In A Handbasket!
That's a good question... while I consider myself on the PBR Team, I had the experience, no, pleasure, of downing a couple Burger beers this past weekend, and I was quite impressed.
I may have to cheat on PBR, you know just because lately I've been feeling a little bored with it, and it really doesn't understand me anymore and we've sort of drifted apart after a few years.
I don't know; I think the best way to settle this is for someone to buy me a couple, so I can decide for sure.
cheap is good, red white and blue also good. The funny looking U is bothering me, but I'll get pabst it. (See what I did there?) I will have to try it first, and if it comes in bottles too, this could be our new beer, as far as I'm concerned.
Ive recently had some PBR and it wasnt to bad. A good water substitute beer on a hot day.
A friend of mines dad used to have burger on tap. Even back when we were underage, we had reservations about drinking it. I think it was said on here, "it taste like butt." Now I know some people are into that sort of thing ie. two girls and a cup. Even though Im pretty adventurous, Ill stick with the PBR and steer clear of the rear.
I'm a die hard PBR fan... but I made the switch to Burger this weekend. I felt like it was the right thing to do being a proud Cincinnatian and all. Plus I'm all about supporting local and small business.
I'll always love my PBR (and collecting PBR memorabilia), but now Burger is my drink o' choice!

absinthe aint worth it it was going for 300 somethin for the king gold bottles but its prob cheaper now with xmas and all that smaller bottles are like 40 to 70 bucks just go with moonshine or something like that
Pretty much. the wormwood is what gives the "opiate" effect. Otherwise its just really bad tasting alcohol.
Absinthe in the U.S. must be Thujone Free to be approved by the FDA. Thujone is the chemical that comes from wormwood.
Is the fake absinthe just alcohol?
I had the real stuff years ago. It was made by the friend of a girlfriend. He was a kind of wizard alchemist. It was kind of opiate like.
Love this post.
1. Chocolate Milk - sorry, nothing adultish about that one.
